Childhood Paradise

Even as a small child I had difficulty sleeping...

At camp I learned a method to help me sleep via my camp counselor. She would have us close our eyes, and she would take us on an adventure in to our own imagination, entering us in to a world of comfort guided by our "power animal"

We would start off on a boat, gently rocking and swaying with the waves until we came to an island, from there we would find a bridge, meet our animal, and be guided to a place of wonder and delight.

This was my paradise, my escape, my door in to dreamland. This was my Childhood Paradise.
